Professor Will Knottenbelt Director of the new Imperial College Centre for Cryptocurrency Research and Engineering (IC3RE) featured on the BBC

DoCs Prof. Will Knottenbelt, has been busy in the media, talking about the new Imperial College Centre for Cryptocurrency Research and Engineering (IC3RE), cryptocurrencies, and their future potential.

Prof Knottenbelt said:“We are on the brink of the next digital revolution. The College is in a unique position to harness the potential of the technology that currently powers cryptocurrencies. Prof. Knottenbelt was featured on the BBC programme Click on the 5^th December, where he used the Data Science Institute’s Data Observatory to show the workings of financial transactions using the cryptocurrency Bitcoin. Will was also interviewed live on BBC World Service News this week.
