CMBI student wins AMR travel award

Vera Pader, a PhD student in the Edwards lab, is one of two winners of the 2017 Antibiotics Travel Award.

The award is sponsored by the journal Antibiotics, published by MDPI, and will enable Vera to attend the Gordon Research Conference on Staphylococcal Diseases in August 2017. During the conference, Vera will present her latest work on daptomycin inactivation by Staphylococcus aureus phospholipid decoys.
