Matyas and Joel attended the Welsh Centre of Printing and Coating (WCPC) annual summer school with the rest of their CDT cohort.
Matyas and Joel attended the Welsh Centre of Printing and Coating (WCPC) annual summer school with the rest of their CDT cohort. The summer school provided an introduction to printing functional materials. There were lectures from academics, industry partners and also some hands on demonstrations to see functional printing in action. The summer school took place in Swansea, and the cohort were treated to some of the finest beaches in the UK!
The trip also gave the two the opportunity to meet students and researchers from SPECIFIC and the Printing and Coating CDT based in Swansea, which may lead to collaboration in the future!
