Mr Terence E. Steer (Mechanical Engineering1957)

Terry's career in project management encompassed aero and rocket engines at Rolls Royce, submersibles at Barrow-in Furness, and work with British Shipbuilders and BNFL. He was quietly efficient, and much liked and respected in all these diverse roles. In retirement he was able to walk his beloved Cumbrian Fells and was a Lake District Voluntary Warden, helping to preserve the hills for others to enjoy.
