Prof Ji-Seon Kim, James Nightingale, Hao Yan, Dr Sooncheol Kwon and Saurav Limbu attended the 4th International Workshop on Nano- and Biophotonics in the Vogue, France. Prof Ji-Seon, Dr Sooncheol and James did very good presentations in this conference about our lab works and latest outputs.

The present Workshop is the continuation of the previous "International Workshops on Nano and Bio-Photonics" (IWNBP) , which were held at Saint-Germain au Mont d'Or, near Lyon in 2011, Biarritz in 2013, and Cabourg in 2013. The 2017 4th IWNBP was held in Vogüé (Ardéche) conjointly with the French-Korean meeting on Functional Material for Organic Optics, Electronics, and Devices (FUNMOOD) and also with the european project Excilight.Prof Ji-Seon's talk in the conference

This workshop offered an excellent forum for the state of art presentations by invited speakers, leading specialists in the field of photonics.Dr Sooncheol

During this trip, we visited the Chauvet Cave, one of the most ancient decorated caves in the world, dating from the Aurignacian (approximately - 35 000 years). Discover very recently in 1994, the Chauvet Cave is of major scientific interest, from the palaeontological point of view as well as that of parietal art, displaying more than 1000 paintings and engravings, including 447 animals representations from 14 different species, justifying its classification as unique UNESCO World heritage site.
