Two CMBI students were awarded prizes at the recent Division of Infectious Diseases away day, held at the Hammersmith Campus.
Miles Priestman, a BBSRC-sponsored third year student won the prize for best poster, whilst first year Wellcome-trust sponsored student Elizabeth Ledger took the prize in the 3 minute thesis category. The event, co-organised by CMBI group leader Dr Sophie Helaine, brought together postgraduate researchers from across the Division of Infectious Diseases and featured keynote presentations from Professor Robin May (University of Birmingham) and Professor Jane Davies from the National Heart and Lung Institute.
