CMS/Update - Freeze on changes till December
To avoid impacting the RAE submission, no system changes will be implemented until December
There will be a freeze on changes to all systems supported by ICT from the end of September until early December. This is to prevent any impact on the forthcoming RAE submission and was communicated to business owners of applications in August.
For CMS, this means that we will not be able to do the usual Friday morning updates to set up new sites, change site names or graphics, or put any other updates to our web-based applications into production. Any of these requests which we receive in the next couple of months will go to test and be checked, and will then be queued to wait for the end of the freeze.
If you have changes which you believe cannot wait until the end of the freeze because of their business impact, please send Marion Brady or Theresa Nichols the business case outlining why they need to go in urgently and the request will be passed to ICT management for consideration.
