Chemical Engineer receives Postdoc and Fellows Development Centre Award

Dr Alex Brogan has been awarded the Postdoc and Fellows Development Centre (PFDC) Reps Award 2018.

The award recognises his commitment to representing his postdoctoral colleagues since he took up the role in 2015.

In his role Alex has helped build the postdoc community in the department and set up the popular Friday Spotlight seminar series, which highlights the work of research groups in the department, for which he was nominated.

Commenting on his award, Dr Brogan said:

"It's an honour to have been nominated for this award, the past year has been busy setting up the postdoc committee, organising various events including the well attended Postdoc Symposium, and of course setting up the Friday Spotlight. The award was a perfect way to cap it all off really!"
