Stalls at the Freshers' Fair

This week Imperial has welcomed the newest members of our student community.

Welcome Week is Imperial's annual celebration for new students to help them get to know the College better and meet like-minded people.

One of the highlights of the week is the Freshers' Fair. Run by the students' union, the fair gives students a chance to find out more about the over 370 clubs, societies and projects available.

From a cappella to yoga, chess to wakeboarding - there is a lot on offer.

Students were welcomed by their academic departments and faculties, as well as by Imperial's new Provost, Professor Ian Walmsley.

The Imperial letters are a new feature on the South Kensington Campus.

Students could also find out about the support and resources available to them at the I-Connect event.

With students settled in to the College, labs, lectures and other teaching get into full swing.
