Plan to install a system patch from Oracle to stop page corruptions

Oracle Patch to Resolve Page Corruptions

We shall be applying an update supplied by Oracle to the CMS first thing on Friday morning 6 January. We hope that this will solve the intermittent page corruption which has caused problems for some Content Editors in the past couple of months. The change will be installed during the usual Friday morning CMS ‘at risk’ time slot i.e. 8.30-10.30am. You are advised not to work on any important pages in your site during this time.

If you notice any problems with the system following this, please inform Marion Brady IMMEDIATELY. If Marion is not available then please contact another member of the Web Team, either Stuart Croghan or Manjuka Tennakoon. If you are unable to contact any of them, please raise a call with the Service Desk.

The ICT Web Team hope that this will not cause you any inconvenience and that the change will prove to be the answer to our recent problems.
