Malaria parasites emerging from a red blood cell

Congratulations to joint Imperial/crick student Anja Schlott who defended her PhD thesis on 5th September

Anja studied target validation in the malaria parasite plasmodium falciparum and was jointly supervised by Ed Tate at Imperial and Tony Holder at The Francis Crick Institute. You can read more about Anja’s research into preventing drug resistance in new malaria treatments in her recent paper in Cell Chemical Biology.

Anja is now working as a researcher and project manager at InnerPlanet.

Congratulations Anja!
