Petroleum Experts has granted software to the Department of Earth Science and Engineering with a commercial value of £3 million.

Petroleum Experts (PetEx) has granted software to the Department of Earth Science and Engineering, with a commercial value of £3 million, to support research as well as the education of our Petroleum MSc students at Imperial College London.

PetEx’s generous grant allows our students to gain valuable hands-on experience with state-of-the-art software. Access to the software granted by PetEx makes an essential contribution to our teaching and research in the fields of petroleum engineering, structural geology and civil engineering. 

The software provides a powerful suite of tools for the appraisal of a host of complex subsurface challenges as well as the assessment of uncertainty.

The software grant, includes MOVE, PROSPER, GAP, PVTP, MBAL, REVEAL and RESOLVE.
