Congratulations Kate!
Congratulations to Imperial student Kate who successfully defended her PhD thesis this week!
Kate worked on the development of chemical probes for a cell surface receptor, GPR119, in collaboration with AstraZeneca and worked towards developing chemical biological tools to identify and characterise GPR119.
Kate has now moved on to work within the NHS as a clinical pharmaceutical scientist at Guys' and St Thomas's Foundation Trust. Within her work, she is developing and formulating new clinical products within the Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit.
