CPB staff associate scoops prestigious research award
CPB staff associate Professor Andy Purvis has been selected as a winner of the 2007 Imperial College Research Excellence Awards.
CPB Staff Associate Professor Andy Purvis has been selected, along with Professor Roy Taylor from the Department of Physics as winners of the 2007 Imperial College Research Excellence Awards.
The external panel determined that both of these outstanding projects would make a great impact on research throughout the College, and were of a high international standard.
Professor Andy Purvis will lead a team including Dr Matthew Fisher, Dr Richard Grenyer, Professor Henrik Jensen, Professor Georgina Mace, Dr EJ Milner-Gulland, Dr David Orme and Professor Ian Owens to carry out research on Understanding biodiversity dynamics in a changing world.
