Decarbonising transport as a route to reducing greenhouse emissions through new technologies such as structural power composites.
Decarbonising transport is proposed as a significant route to reducing overall greenhouse emissions. The implementation of new technologies, such as structural power composites to the transport sector, will help the UK achieve its proposed 'net-zero' greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The article also discusses the issues surrounding the UK economy, and other technological advances which should be targeted in a post COVID-19 world.
