Imperial College London and Young Chelsea Bridge Club are seeking to reunite as many past players (and introduce some new ones) for an event in January 2008

Imperial College London and Young Chelsea Bridge Club have enjoyed a long and warm mutually beneficial relationship over many years. We are now seeking to reunite as many past players (and introduce some new ones) for an event in January 2008 to be held at YCBC in Earls Court, London.

The Young Chelsea Bridge Club started in 1968, moving to its current Barkston Gardens premises in 1976. During this time Warwick Pitch made it one of the best-known bridge clubs in the world, with a membership that was among the strongest anywhere. In 2006 the club was generously donated by Warwick to the members, since when it has been run by a management committee with a full-time manager - although Warwick is still keenly involved and can be seen at the club most days. It offers one of the strongest club bridge games in Europe, yet is also a great place to learn and improve your game.

To celebrate its fortieth anniversary, the club has organised a series of events spread over 12 months, from November 2007 to October 2008. There are social events, spectator events and a wide range of playing events for all standards of player.
