CMS/Update - Some bugs fixed

Some problems from the 10.1.4 upgrade have now been resolved

Recent CMS bug fixes

  • When you update a large item in the Content editor, the Overwrite Current Version option works correctly again. Previously a new version was created each time. If you want to remove excess versions, there are instructions in this earlier news item .
  • One-character page names now pick up the template correctly.
  • The bug which gave different views of PWP data depending on whether the user was logged in or not has been fixed. This problem affected content items over 4000 characters. Users now see all the content, whether logged in or not.
  • Omniportlet (Feature to display data from a database) is generally working again but there is still an issue where some users do not see the data if they are on a different part of the network or use a different browser to the Omniportlet creator. Oracle are investigating this as a high priority.
