Professor Wadee and Professor Ochieng present Carolanne Vouriot with her award

Twenty graduands were celebrated for their exceptional achievements during their Postgraduate studies in a Departmental awards ceremony.

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering recognised the achievements during a reception held in the Skempton Building.

Prize winners and their guests attended the reception overlooking the Department's state-of-the-art Structures Laboratory.

The prizes are awarded annually to postgraduate students for a range of notable accomplishments following consideration by a panel.

Prize winners received a certificate of merit, and a copy of Joyce Brown’s 100 Years of Civil Engineering, signed by Professor Washington Yotto Ochieng, the Head of Department.
