Uuni: What's Your Big Idea? 2008

What's your £20,000 big idea?

Ideas can be priceless, or worthless, but how do you tell the difference? The crucial difference is whether an idea works, whether the rewards outweigh the risks. Insurance covers some of the biggest risks facing the world today, like global warming, terrorism and natural disasters. Insurance cover gives people with big ideas the confidence to make them happen.

'What's your big idea?' is open to university students all over the world, either as individuals or in groups. Your idea must fall under one of the following categories, Technological, Environmental, Social Enterprise, or General Business.

All you have to do to enter is tell us your big idea in 100 words. Think about what makes your idea so special and why it will be such a success. The top 25 entries from each region will progress to the next stage of the competition. For further details of the competition please go to www.uuni.com/bigidea.

Six finalists (two from each region) will be flown to London (unless they live locally!) to present their ideas at the Tate Modern in front of business angels and leading London finance industry figures.

Prize Pool:
First prize - £20,000
Second prize - £2,500
