Headspace app

The ICB CDT are lucky to have free access to Headspace, an everyday mental health app! Click on this link and enjoy ‘meditation and mindfulness for any mind, any mood, any goal’!

White City Campus

Library books and document delivery

Remember, you still have access to the library even though you are based in White City! You can request your books, pick them up, and later return them at the self-service book locker in Student Support Services, Sir Michael Uren Building (West side)—library Nose Cone.

CDT Breakfast every Wednesday morning at Costa, Ground Floor iHub!

Pastries, fruits and juices are waiting for you! We can’t describe how much we loooooove Wednesdays!

Friday Doughnuts by our amazing Postgraduate Committee, at MSRH Common Room

If you have a sweet tooth, our CDT programme is the place to be! Grab your doughnut on Fridays and fuel up for the last day of the week! Remember to only take one per person, so everyone can get their sweet treat!

Take advantage of the ScaleSpace area

Ready for a short walk to clear your head, grab coffee or food and sit outside (fingers crossed for nice weather)? ScaleSpace is the place to be! Did we mention that you can watch all the major sports tournament while sitting on a lounge chair?

Friday Drinks by the Postgraduate Committee, at MSRH Common Room

While this is happening once every 2 weeks, it’s probably our favourite tradition! Make sure to wrap up your work early and join us in the Common Room at 5 pm!

 South Kensington Campus

Tuesday Farmers Market in Dangoor Plaza

From 9-2pm every Tuesday, you can taste delicious dishes from many different countries, take a dessert or some raw materials to make your own food at home.

Take a lunch break to visit a museum on Exhibition Road

It might be a no-brainer but one of the best things about the South Kensington campus is its proximity to the incredible museums on Exhibition Road. The Science Museum, Natural History Museum and V&A are all free to visit you just need to book your ticket in advance.

Free lunchtime concerts!

Calling all music enthusiasts, did you know that there are free lunchtime concerts every Thursday at 1 pm? They usually happen in the Read lecture theatre, Sherfield building or sometimes in Holy Trinity Church on Prince Consort Road. The performances are always a much needed boost near the end of the week.

GoStudy Spaces

Located on the 4th and 5th floor of the Chemistry building these spaces are open to all imperial students and they offer a very good place to study or work especially near exam season when the library is full. There is a space for every need, Silent Study, Group Study and Breakout Spaces where you can have a break to eat.

Coffee with a view at Blackett Café

Looking for good coffee and a stunning view? Look no further than Blackett Café on Level 8 of the Blackett building! Offering a nice atmosphere with drinks and snacks as well as an incredible view of the South Kensignton area (can you spot the Royal Albert Hall?). To see the view you will need to sit outside so remember to bring warm clothes.

Eastside bar

Tired of always going to FiveSixEight after work? Eastside bar is just around the corner on the ground floor of Linstead Hall in Princes Gardens.
