Sinead wins poster prize

Sinead McCann won a prize for her poster presented at the RSC Chemical Biology and Bioorganic Chemistry Postgraduate Symposium 2025.
Sinead McCann and Thomas Mills from the group travelled to Aberdeen to present their PhD work as posters at this year's RSC CBBG Postgraduate Symposium.
Tom presented his work on the application of molecular rotor dyes as probes for studying protein-protein interaction inhibition and Sinead presented her work on the design and synthesis of photoswitches for use as peptide staples to control the conformation and activity of helical peptides. Sinead was awarded a prize for her poster presentation!
