AIChE 2025 countdown: Explore our schedule!

The Department of Chemical Engineering will have a grand presence at the AIChE Annual Meeting in Boston, US.

Along with over 50 talks and posters, we will be hosting a reception on Monday 3 November, and invite attendees to stop by for a chat about working or studying in the Department. 

Presentations

Several members of our team will be presenting talks and posters at this year’s AIChE Annual Meeting, taking place at the Hynes Convention Center, Marriott Copley Place, and Sheraton Boston from 2–6 November.

Our presentations will cover a wide breadth of chemical engineering topics.

Saturday 1 November  | 10.05 AM  | Room 201 | Second Level, Hynes Convention Center

Join a presentation by the Director of Postgraduate Studies, Professor Cleo Kontoravdi, followed by a Q&A session.

The presentation is aimed at current undergraduate and MSc students working towards a degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology and other related disciplines who are planning to undertake further technical and research training. It will also be relevant to Engineering and Science professionals wishing to develop their technical and research skills and obtain further qualifications.

Recruitment fair - come, meet our team!

We will be at the Recruitment fair - look out for our royal blue chemical engineering tees! Drop by to have a chat with our academics and researchers about all the wonderful opportunities available within our Department. You can also bag yourself some free, one-of-a-kind goodies.
