In Memory of Wouter Kallemeijn
Wouter Kallemeijn was an outstanding scientist, an inspiring colleague, and a kind, humble and thoughtful friend.
Wouter started as research fellow in our Imperial lab in 2016 and moved to lead our Crick lab in 2021. He was an exceptionally talented scientist whose work shaped many of our projects and papers, and he trained and supported countless students and colleagues over the years.
But beyond his scientific achievements, Wouter was one of the kindest, most generous, and most selfless people one could hope to work with. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
With the support of Wouter’s family and the Crick, we have set up an online remembrance page so that friends and colleagues around the world can share their thoughts. Additionally,we have made a separate page to raise funds to support Wouter's son Charlie, and his partner Johanna.
