Come face to face with a challenge in Research & Development.
Apply to our R&D PhD Seminar and experience the challenges of the daily life of a Scientist/Engineer in Research & Development! You will experience the innovative world of our R&D organisation and practise the skills needed to be successful. You will do this first hand via a series of exercises and case studies working with other international students and trainers from P&G.
You will also visit one of our European Research Centres and have ample opportunity to meet and talk with our scientists and engineers.
Accommodation, meals, and travel to and from the seminar are paid by P&G.
During the seminar you will be able to practise:
- Applying technical knowledge to solve real problems
- Making difficult and tough decisions
- Setting priorities
- Communicating ideas
- Motivating people and teams
- Working as part of a team
In 2008 we will hold our seminar in Germany in our Research Centre in Schwalbach/Frankfurt from April 2-4. There are 24 places available.
The seminar is open to penultimate and final year Ph.D. Science (Natural / Life or Physical) or Engineering (not IT) students (m/f).
Applicants need to take our on line questionnaire and potentially sit 2 interviews. Seminar Attendees and others who pass these initial requirements can afterwards be considered for interviews for full time opportunities in one of our Research Centres.
