CMS/Research - The College's way of categorising research content to enable users to find cross departmental research

Research Themes

This is the college’s way of categorising research content and is aimed to enable users to find cross departmental research. It works by assigning Research Themes (a new link above the footer when you are logged in) to a page. We recommend assigning the themes to ONLY the home page of a research group website.

The user can then search by these themes from the departmental research page.

Each Faculty is defining a taxonomy (categorisation or themes) for its research areas. Physical Sciences and the Business School have completed their taxonomy.

When the taxonomy has been done, Academic site owners should include a research themes page in their departmental research section so that they can benefit from this.
