Imperial College was involved in a one-day conference on developing technologies to tackle climate change held in the iconic ‘Gherkin’ building. The ‘Sharing the Vision’ event was organised by the German Embassy in London, German Industry UK, the European Commission and Imperial College. Climate change issues were discussed by a panel of seven leading figures from the worlds of science, technology and industry, including Susan Searle of Imperial Innovations. Dr Simon Buckle, Director of Climate Change Policy at Imperial’s Grantham Institute for Climate Change attended the meeting and stressed the importance of such discussions.   Dr Buckle’s comments and full press release.
