Calling all Engineering Geology Alumni!!

All who graduated with either an MSc in Engineering Geology or a BSc in Geology with Engineering Geology will be members of the Herbert Lapworth Club - whether they know it or not!

All who graduated with either an MSc in Engineering Geology or a BSc in Geology with Engineering Geology will be members of the Herbert Lapworth Club - whether they know it or not! A brief account of Herbert Lapworth can be found on the web site for Engineering Geology. He was a distinguished engineer and brought Engineering Geology to Imperial in 1910. The subject has been taught continuously at the college since that time.

We are now less than 6 years from the Centenary of this foundation and as Secretary of the Club I am writing to enquire who may be interested in attending a reunion in London in 2010.

Plans are at their formative stage at present but it is felt that a 2-day meeting of Alumni to consider a wide range of current issues within Engineering Geology might be appropriate.
