ACCENTURE: The Navigator 2008
Find out if consulting's right for you.
The Navigator - a nine-week post-graduation placement.
The Navigator scheme is the perfect way for graduates and post-graduates to gain real-life experience of the world of consultancy and make an informed choice about whether it’s the right career choice.
You’ll start in September, and the induction training you receive in your first week will provide you with grounding in business and technology consultancy techniques, plus several core business skills.
During your induction, you will also receive technical training before you learn about the project you’ll be involved in. The project could be in any industry area, anywhere in the UK. Expect to become a fully signed-up member of the team – and take on real responsibility for software testing, research, report writing, data analysis or even designing client websites.
We’ll expect you to learn a lot in a short space of time. But to help, we’ll allocate you a ‘buddy’ who’ll act as a valuable source of advice and guidance. And you’ll receive regular feedback on your performance from your supervisor.
You will receive a salary of £20,000 pro-rata.
You typically have 320 UCAS points at A-level with a predicted or actual 2:1 or equivalent in any degree discipline. You are in your final year at university, or you have recently graduated.
IT knowledge isn’t essential, but you are interested in learning about technology. And you’re prepared to live away from home and finance your own accommodation.
Please note applications close on 25 April 2008.
Scheme start date: 8 September 2008
Scheme end date: 7 November 2008
