Researcher wins the 2006 BGA Cooling Prize

One of the section's PhD students, David Edwards, has won first prize in this year's BGA Cooling Prize Competition Final.

One of the section's PhD students, David Edwards, has won first prize in this year's BGA Cooling Prize Competition Final. The competition is open to young geotechnical engineers who produce a paper and presentation of their work - David's is regarding the development of a new design method for offshore foundations where there is a risk of 'punch-through'.
