Rector’s Award for Excellence in Health and Safety

David Gentry, Faculty Safety Manager and long time Departmental Safety Officer, has won this year’s award

We are delighted to announce that David Gentry, Faculty Safety Manager and long time Departmental Safety Officer, has won this year’s Rector’s Award for Excellence in Health and Safety. 

David was nominated by the Department and Faculty for his outstanding record in promoting and developing a strong health and safety culture within the Department and through his new Faculty role.  The award letter notes how David’s work has often been held up within College as an example of best practice.
