GOLDMAN SACHS EMPLOYABILITY SUMMER INTERNSHIP
FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES 2007
Closing date 30 December 2006
The Goldman Sachs EmployAbility internship gives students with disabilities the opportunity to obtain invaluable work experience and gain an insight into the industry. EmployAbility is a not for profit organisation that facilitates and manages the recruitment and selection of people with disabilities seeking internships and full time work.
Goldman Sachs is a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm, providing a full range of investing, advisory and financing services worldwide to a substantial and diversified client base, which includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and high-net-worth individuals. In doing so, we bring together people, capital and ideas to make things happen for our clients.
We offer a variety of internships to students who want jobs with real responsibility, outstanding training and the chance to learn from the best. As an intern, you will gain valuable work experience at the firm while developing and demonstrating your skills in the financial industry.
Successful candidates come from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. Both liberal arts majors and business students are encouraged to apply, provided they share an interest in the financial markets, have demonstrated strong academic performance and professional drive.
We are looking for individuals who can balance competition and teamwork, intensity and integrity, intellectual curiosity and leadership potential with a passion for excellence.
Summer Internships
Our divisions provide interns with a comprehensive professional and educational summer experience – whether on our sales and trading floors, amidst the noise and excitement of the markets, or at the heart of the biggest deals in investment banking.
The programmes run for approximately 10 weeks, depending on the division, and are located in our London Office. While on the job, our interns are given real responsibilities. Our programmes are designed to give you a sense of what you would be doing day to day as a full-time Goldman Sachs employee.
Divisions currently offering internships include: Investment Banking, Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities, Equities, Investment Management, Technology, Operations and Finance and Human Capital Management
Closing date: 30th December 2006
