CMS Site Usage Statistics
All sites in CMS record statistics about visitors on a weekly basis. You can see the statistics at http://www.imperial.ac.uk/webstats/portal. You will need to log in as these statistics are restricted to people with College logins. Note that the statistics are generated at the start of each month for the weeks in the preceding month.
Find your site name in the list to see a selection of statistics. The most useful ones are:
-
General Summary - shows you the time period analysed and the total number of requests for pages during that period.
-

-
Daily Summary - a bar chart and pie chart of usage for each day of the week and weekday/weekend totals.
-
Hour of the Week Summary - a graph of usage for each hour of the week, by day.
-
Operating System Report - shows what Operating System visitors to your site are using, under headings Unix, Macintosh, Windows.
-
Request Report - shows most requested pages in descending order, so you can see which are the most popular pages in your site.
