Tanaka Principal becomes Research Director

Tanaka Business School today announced that its Principal, Professor David Begg, will take on the role of Research Director.

Professor Begg said: "The quality of our research is paramount, and enhancing the research profile of the Business School, including its interface with other Imperial faculties, remains a key challenge.  The Government has made it very clear that it will support academic research of only the very highest standard, and which enhances the research capacity produced in successful cross partnerships.

"Other faculties of Imperial College London are recognising the opportunities for joint research with Tanaka Business School, giving rise to exciting possibilities of research on issues such as innovation management, technology transfer, risk management, intellectual property, and healthcare delivery.

"Unlocking research synergy enables Imperial to deliver more effectively for its corporate and governmental partners, and hence to create more exciting, relevant, and focused programmes for its students."
