The ‘Leadership Programme' is a fantastic personal development and career opportunity to Black and Asian students in Wales.

  • 50 Weeks Work Placement

  • Networking
  • Development Mentor

Leadership Programme – Wales/Cymru (LPW) is a two-year professional and personal development programme for Black and Asian minority ethnic undergraduates. The programme includes:

  • Six residential seminars over two years involving intensive personal development and professional skills training
  • An outdoor Personal Enhancement Programme (PEP)
  • A 50 week paid work placement at the Welsh Assembly Government upon graduation
  • Your choice of voluntary work
  • Continuous support from an allocated Development Mentor

Eligibility - you should be:

  • A penultimate year undergraduate on a degree-course from a Black or Asian minority ethnic group
  • Able to commit fully to the whole programme
  • UK or EU/EEA citizen or other national with indefinite leave to remain in the UK
