CMS Upgrade successfully implemented

Site editors no longer need to take copies of updates

CMS Architecture Upgrade

The recent Oracle Portal CMS architecture upgrade was successfully implemented and the system is now stable. So site developers and editors no longer need to keep a record of all the changes made to their CMS sites.

The new architecture is performing well and, for example, we are seeing significant improvements in page rendering times.

One known effect of the upgrade is that IE6 users will notice a change in the font for headings compared with the pre-upgrade appearance.

If users encounter any other problems following the upgrade, these should be reported to the Service Desk.
