Chemistry Staff honoured at Royal Society of Chemistry award ceremony

Four Department of Chemistry Staff were presented with Awards for 2006.

At the Royal Society of Chemistry Annual Award Ceremony held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, Birmingham on Thursday 15th November, four Department of Chemistry Staff were presented with Awards for 2006.

  • Professor Alexei Kornyshev: Industrially-sponsored award in Electrochemistry - The Geoffrey Barker Medal
  • Dr Saif Haque: Edward Harrison Memorial Medal and Prize
  • Emeritus Professor David Phillips OBE
  • Professor Nick Long: Industrially-sponsored award in   Organometallic Chemistry
  • Professor John Seddon: Industrially-sponsored award in  Biomembrane Chemistry
