Dr Julian Carbo Nover (PhD Materials 1968)

Dr. Julian Carbo Nover Ph.D.  D.I.C. (Spain 1925-2008) took his Doctorate on “Tin in silicate melts” at the Imperial College from 1965 until 1968, being member of a splendid group of research scientists directed by Professor Denys Richardson. His stay and studies in London changed his life forever and made the United Kingdom his second homeland.
 
He was a great mountaineer, glider pilot, yacht skipper, ornithologist, pianist, bibliophile and beloved husband and father.
