Over 30 alumni and friends gathered in San Mateo on 7 June to meet an Imperial College International Ambassador and indulge in a traditional English afternoon tea.

Professor Christopher Kennard, Deputy Principal of the Faculty of Medicine and an Imperial College International Ambassador, delivered a scintillating talk entitled ‘Delusions and deceits of the sight – an exploration of vision, illusions and reality’, which centred around his research into cognitive neuroscience and visual sciences. The presentation was very well received and prompted a lively question and answer session.
