AIRBUS: Engineering Careers for Women Workshop - Thursday 17 July 2008

At the Farnborough International Airshow 2008 - EADS Stand G15, Hall 4.

At this event, which has been specifically created for women engineers, you will have a unique opportunity to gain an understanding of our business, the chance to ask questions, and discuss career opportunities with engineering experts from a wide range of business areas in Airbus.

Programme:

  • Opportunity to meet senior female executive engineers and recent engineering graduates
  • Visit to A380
  • Drinks in the chalet

This workshop is aimed at women engineers who are currently undergraduates or who have recently graduated in one of the following areas, and who would like to know more about possible careers in the aerospace industry:

  • Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering
  • Structural / Mechanical / Systems / Materials and Electrical Engineering
  • Engineering with Physics / Maths
  • Engineering with Business Studies

Spaces are limited, so if you would like to attend this event, please send an email, attaching your latest CV (which must include your postal address), by Tuesday 8th July to airbusuk-grad@airbus.com - stating the words “Women in Engineering” in the ‘subject’ box.

Successful applicants will receive a voucher to gain free entry to the Farnborough Airshow and joining instructions.
