Symbolic Math Toolbox 5
As of R2008b, scheduled to be released at the end of September, The MathWorks will release Symbolic Math Toolbox 5, which will no longer use the Maple™ computational engine.
As of R2008b, scheduled to be released at the end of September, The MathWorks will release Symbolic Math Toolbox 5, which will no longer use the Maple™ computational engine.
Symbolic Math Toolbox 5 will be a single product with the combined capabilities of Extended Symbolic Math Toolbox and Symbolic Math Toolbox. Symbolic Math Toolbox 5 will also support an interface to the standalone Maple software.
The MathWorks will continue to sell the current Maple-based versions of Symbolic Math Toolbox and Extended Symbolic Math Toolbox through September 28, 2008.
