Mr Brian P. Last (Electrical and Electronic Engineering 1960)

Brian Patrick Last died peacefully in his sleep on April 23rd in Sheffield after a long battle against cancer. He was a well respected local business man who ran his own company TEK Consultants in Sheffield for many years.
 
In 2003, Brian was made a trustee for the South Yorkshire Community Foundation and a year later he became the Deputy Chair. His work in particular to help those in disadvantaged communities in Sheffield and throughout South Yorkshire will be well remembered.
 
Brian was a family man and loved nothing more than spending time with his family and grandchildren. His great sense of fun, compassion, sincerity and utmost integrity will be sadly missed by all who new him.
 
Brian is survived by his wife Pat, children Judith and John and their respective families.
