Joerg was a founding member of the Imperial College Club of Germany eV together with Matthias and myself. Joerg was instrumental in getting the Club going with our first meetings in Dettelbach back in 2003.

Always positive-thinking, Joerg always had good ideas and was keen on detail. I know that many of our current members joined the Club because Joerg personally took care of passing on a professional but caring impression of our Club.

Even when Joerg was fighting the cancer, he still helped us with organisation of Events until the time that he had to call it a day. I know that many Club Members will be saddened by this news.

No flowers should be brought to the funeral, but that contributions to the Cancer Dept at Nordwest Krankenhauses in Frankfurt am Main should be made.
