A letter to all medical alumni

Medical equipment

ICSM Gazette would like your help for a special Centenary article.

Dear alumni,

I am a 4th year medical student at Imperial College School of Medicine and a committee member on the ICSM Gazette with special responsibility for the alumni section.

2007 is Imperial College's Centenary Year and the School of Medicine's 10th anniversary, and as such we are writing a commemorative piece in each of the two issues of this academic year.  The first will consist of the first 50 years of history of Imperial College and I was hoping that you might be able to help me with this project, by writing an article about one of the following;

  • Your time at Imperial College/Medical School and the ways in which you have remained involved with the School and/or Imperial College since.
  • A review of any alumni events that you have attended recently.

Articles would ideally be around 400+ words in length. he sooner you can write the piece and send it to me via e-mail (venisha.patel@imperial.ac.uk), the better, but I need to receive submissions for the issue no later than Thursday 1st February.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hundreds of students, alumni and other professionals associated with the College read the Gazette, and your experiences and memories will be invaluable to all those readers.

I hope that you will be able to help me with this, and make the alumni section of the Gazette special and memorable to our readers, a fitting way to celebrate our wonderful College and Medical Schools. f you have any questions about the Gazette, or about the article, please do not hesitate to contact me. y e-mail address is venisha.patel@imperial.ac.uk.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

With very best wishes,

Venisha Patel
