METROPOLITAN POLICE SERVICE: Graduate Event - Thursday 8 & Friday 9 January 2009

An event we are organising to give graduates and near graduates an opportunity to find out more about being a police officer within the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) at an event held in Central London.

This one and a half day event will offer information on:

  • What you do as a police officer
  • The other departments, specialist or otherwise available to police officers within the MPS
  • The selection process and how to apply
  • The High Potential Development scheme, what it is, how it will benefit you and how to apply
  • The chance to meet and mix with actual Police Officers from different ranks and different departments within the MPS
  • Any questions for anyone interested in pursuing a career as a Police Officer

The event will be held on the 8th and 9th January 2009 at:

London
SW6 1TR

Accommodation, food and refreshments will be provided, but those attending will be expected to pay their own travel costs.

To apply all we require is a one-page CV detailing what study and any work experience, as well as a one-page covering letter explaining why you would like to attend.
