INSTITUTE OF CIVIL ENGINEERING (ICE): Undergraduate Quest Scholarship
Change the world... become a Civil Engineering.
The Queen's Jubilee Scholarship Trust (QUEST) was established in 1977 in her Majesty's Silver Jubilee year with the aim of fostering and developing education within civil engineering. QUEST supports civil engineering undergraduates as well as members of the ICE who wish to foster their professional development by means of travel or continued study in civil engineering.
QUEST attracts an excellent standard of applicant and the selection process is highly competitive to ensure that the reputation of QUEST remains associated with respect and excellence within the industry.
QUEST now operates in partnership with prominent civil engineering and construction based companies who offer scholars the opportunity to undertake work placements during the summer holidays during study.
The ICE QUEST Undergraduate Scholarship was raised to £3000 per year for all new scholars from 2007 on a 3/4 year course, to a maximum of £12,000 for the duration of a course. ICE is very grateful to the Partner Companies who agreed to raise their contribution. There is also now a major new sponsor, Construction Skills, which aligns the QUEST award scheme with their Inspire Scholarship. The generosity of all of our supporters means that the scholarship amount now matches tuition fees, at a time when students really need it.
