Joint CPB/OPAL Air Centre Science Fun Day, Sunday 5th October

Over 300 members of the public braved the sheeting rain on Sunday to visit Imperial College’s Silwood Park campus and take part in the Science Fun Day.

Young people and their families took tours of the Ecotron facility and tried out scientific activities,the day was aimed at 8 -12 year-olds. ‘I loved the chemistry demonstrations and the nature trail’ said one satisfied customer. ‘We went to see the Ecotron and I thought is was cool, we want to come back next year’.
