ICCG Wine Tasting in Heidelberg

Imperial alumni attend the Annual Meeting of the Imperial College Club of Germany.

The Annual General Meeting of the Imperial Alumni College Club of Germany took place on 13 September 2008 in the beautiful city of Heidelberg.

Mr Dariusch Khanzadeh, Siemens AG, Department of Strategic Tasks -Business and Planning opened the meeting with a topical presentation about the current Economic Crisis facing Europe. His presentation was followed by Mr Nik Weissenstein from Accenture who spoke about IT frameworks which will ensure competitiveness in the future.

Following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting the College Club members visited Weingut Clauer to participate in the local Weinfest. Mr Clauer Junior took the group on a tour of his vineyards and cellars where he emphasised the need in Germany to innovate with Bio Wines in order to keep ahead of the market. The following day the group was taken on a guided walk through the Heidelberger Schloss providing a perfect end to a successful College Club of Germany AGM and networking event.
