Three members of the Physics Department were part of one of the two winning teams awarded the Research Excellence awards 2008

Three members of the Physics Department were part of one of the two winning teams awarded the Research Excellence awards 2008. This scheme is designed to reward research teams that have demonstrated high academic achievement and have significant future potential. Each award is for £150k and is intended for blue- skies research.

Congratulations go to Professor Paul French, (one of the two team leaders), Dr Mark Neil and Dr Christopher Dunsby from the Photonics group, Physics, who were part of the “ Spatio-temporal Mapping of Protein Interactions  in Live Cells by Multidimensional Fluorescence Imaging” research project. The awards will be presented at the Postgraduate Awards Ceremony in May 2009.
