ICT Survey

An online survey is running to gather students' online collaboration requirements for MyImperial - it will be open until Friday 23 January.

As you know, MyImperial (the student portal) has been running successfully for several months. One of our original wishes was that the portal would include functionality to allow students to collaborate online with each other on group projects. This could take many forms: working on reports or presentations, instant messaging, blogging, discussion forums...

The MBA team have been piloting collaboration software with the full-time students over the last couple of months - we are one of only 3 departments to have any collaboration functionality. This has been really useful and we now want to find out from all our students exactly what their collaboration needs are so that ICT can choose the appropriate software and provide this through the portal. I'm keen that we continue to shape the MyImperial project like this.
