Research by Dr James Wilton-Ely and his group highlighted on the front cover of the current issue of Dalton Transactions.

Research by Dr James Wilton-Ely and his group, who recently joined Imperial College's Department of Chemistry, is highlighted on the front cover of the current issue of Dalton Transactions. The cover image depicts a ruthenium metal unit tethered to the surface of a gold nanoparticle. The paper reports a new method for the functionalisation of nanoparticles using a bifunctional dithiocarbamate ligand. Further work is currently underway to investigate these materials for catalysis and sensing applications. For more information see here Dalton Transactions
